Park closed temporarily due to Covid-19

At Gold Coast Wake Park our number one priority has been and will always be the health and safety of our guests and team members.

Operations:

Following recent Government announcements, and the increase of confirmed COVID-19 cases both nationally and on the Gold Coast, the decision has been made to temporarily close Gold Coast Wake Park from close of business on Sunday 22 March. We will provide a further update on these operations as the situation arises. 

This is an extremely challenging time and this is not a decision which was made lightly. The decision has been made to ensure the long-term viability and sustainability of the business, and most importantly to secure future jobs for our team members.

We are engaging with our team members to support them during this period.

We are also working actively with all levels of Government during this difficult time.

Gold Coast Wake Park will continuously review the situation and will take steps to ensure that once the threat of COVID-19 passes, we reopen our doors and continue to be one of the best and most professional Wakeboarding Facilities.

Health & Safety:

Since COVID-19 emerged, Gold Coast Wake Park has worked closely with Government and leading experts to ensure that at all times it has adopted the highest level of health & safety practices and there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at our venue.

Why is the park closed?

How long will the park be closed?

We will provide a further update on these operations as the situation arises.  We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates via our websites and social media channels.

I visited your park in the last week, am I at risk?

There have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at our facility.

What does this mean for GC Wake Park membership holders?

All 1 Week, 1 Month, 6 Month and 1 Year Memberships will be extended for the same period as the temporary closure. For example, if we are closed for one-week, your pass will also be extended for one-week.

I have a Direct Debit Membership, will I still be charged my payments?

All Gold Coast Wake Park memberships on the weekly payment plan will have all payments suspended directly through debit success. Keep in mind this does not mean your pass will be extended by the amount of down time.

I Purchased tickets through a third party seller (Groupon, Scoopon etc) What should I do?

Please contact the company the tickets were purchased from directly.

I have a Gift Card, will this be extended?

Yes, all gift cards will receive an extension on their expiration date for the period as the temporary closure.

For example, if we are closed for one week, your gift card will be extended by one week.

What will happen with your programs i.e Boarding School & Ladies Challenge

Boarding School & Ladies Challenge will be postponed during our closure. Once we reopen we will ensure we make up these missed lessons. Please keep an eye out on our socials for this update.

I have purchased tickets directly through you, what happens now?

We will be cancelling upcoming bookings day by day and you will receive a credit voucher on all direct* bookings straight to your email on your booking.

*If you booked your tickets through a travel agency or third-party website, please contact them directly to assist you.
